By taking her experience into the field, she significantly expanded her knowledge of construction practices, making her an effective liaison with contractors which often leads to time-savings and cost-savings.
Ms. Barnett has been involved with the design or construction of over 200 apartments in NYC and has personally filed many construction projects with the NYC Department of Buildings. She has completed feasibility studies, zoning analyses, project budgets, and schedules. Her ability as an effective public speaker has contributed to her successfully gaining approval for projects from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission. She has both the creative ability and the practical knowledge to fulfill her contracts.
